Novapoint Virtual Map Novapoint Virtual Map is a software product for creating, presenting and publishing interactive virtual models. In the 3D model the user can move on foot, by car or in the air and view the plan from different perspectives. Input data Novapoint Virtual Map builds the virtual model from Novapoint design data and AutoCAD-drawing elements. Orthophotos can be used in creating an image of the existing landscape, and GIS data can be imported through the AutoCAD MAP -program. The 3D terrain model can be created from breaklines, points or contour lines or it can imported directly from the Novapoint DTM. Easy Material Generation The virtual model is created automatically from the design data. The model can also be viewed in different weather conditions. The grouping functionality enables comparisons between alternative plans. The virtual model can be published on the internet or it can be saved on a variety of distribution media. The basic viewing program is free, so all interested parties have access to the models.
